These poems were born at the same time, and from the same state of mind; therefore, they share the title, “More”.

She scrapes her flesh

Clean of human touch.

Her destiny is not to rot

In the hands of a world

That never loved her well,

But to find a universe

Within herself

That is everything she needs,

And more.

She was not

Liquid sex,

Beer or booze

To be chugged,

And then drained

Upon completion.

Nor was she

Pretty plastic

To be possessed

As a trophy

By hollow human beings.

She was the Spartan sun

And sadistic sea,

Fated to forge a warpath

And conquer her way

To Greatness.
